Perform complete conceptual estimates for large, complex EPC projects from receipt of bid package through final bid review, including: site visits, scope determination, Material Takeoff, input data into computerized estimating systems, questions to Owner/Engineer and qualifications

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
Use effective verbal and written communication skills. Add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers rapidly and accurately.
Mastery of technical estimating responsibilities including lead responsibilities such as: site visits and jobsite exposure, understanding RFQ requirements, questions to owner/engineer, turnover of bid estimate to the field, etc.
Utility scale solar, wind or battery energy storage estimation experience or estimation for large-scale heavy civil construction projects highly desired, but not required
Experience leading full bids and coordinating with vendors/subcontractors.
Knowledge of various contract types including Engineer, Procure, and Construct, Design Build, and Joint Venture
Utilize ability and experience to conceptualize portions of estimate
Minimum of 7 years of estimating or project management experience in construction (EPC preferred)
Ability to solve complex problems, lead cross-functional stakeholders, and manage deadlines.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contract types, and RFP requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (working with cross-functional teams, giving predicable and timely updates, drafting clear and concise technical questions and presenting logical estimates).
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Estimating, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
Mastery knowledge of discipline specific responsibilities including lead responsibilities such as: material take offs, comprehension of drawings and specifications, manhour analysis, understanding of material pricing, subcontracts, etc.
Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of all aspects of Construction Estimating and consistently manage bid teams for large, complex projects
