- Design utility (water/sewer) connections to public mains.
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs and prepare as-builts.
- Prepare civil construction specifications, quantity take-offs, and provide bidding support.
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
- Be responsible for effective communication with other disciplines and project stakeholders.
- Apply strong knowledge of commonly used civil engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the civil engineering services industry.
- Be responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
- Prepare stormwater management studies and SWPPP.
- Be responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.
- Perform civil design of projects from the conceptual phase through construction.
- Design soil erosion & sediment controls and stormwater best management practices per state or local guidelines.
- Perform site access design, grading & earthwork modeling.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations.

- Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Bachelor Degree in Civil or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. and 3 years of civil engineering experience, consulting preferred. Required or
- Strong knowledge in standard civil engineering techniques and procedures.
- Master Degree in Civil Engineering and 2 years of civil engineering experience, consulting preferred. Required
- Strong computer skills (e.g. AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM (Revit), Civil 3D, PLS, PLS-CADD, RISA-3D, MathCADD), and/or hydraulic, hydrologic, pavement, civil analysis programs.
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program. and 3 years of civil engineering experience, consulting preferred. Required or
- Engineers in Training-EIT Certification Preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
