Full‑service geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing & environmental services.
Receptionist responsible for greeting visitors, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the reception area in a professional office environment.
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, etc.
The physical demands of the job may include occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds.
The position involves sitting for extended periods, performing data entry, and engaging in frequent communication via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
Deliver packages and documents to various departments within the office.
Keep the reception area clean, organized and presentable at all times.
Order and maintain inventory of office supplies, replenishing as needed.
The role involves regular communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, both in person and through virtual platforms.
Communicate with janitorial staff on any concerns.
Conduct out-of-office errands on an as-needed basis such as obtaining supplies, package drop-off, etc.
Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail and packages promptly.
Maintain and update the daily conference room schedules, ensuring accurate bookings.
Prepare and send outgoing mail, not limited to USPS, UPS and/or FedEx.
Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they feel welcome and are directed to the appropriate person or meeting room.
