Support the Construction Manager and lead an on-site team of supervisors and technical support personnel in completing the assigned scope.
Provide construction input to the construction planning process prior to site mobilization, in particular cold weather considerations.
Manage the construction work in accordance with the project schedule.
Effectively manage assigned onsite activities in the delivery of projects to ensure the successful delivery of the project; constructed on time, to budget and in accordance with Ausenco objectives.
Ensure that the site runs according to project plans.
Maintain a professional and functional relationship with client personnel.

Degree in engineering or a technical trade background.
Willingness to travel as required.
Strong understanding of the commercial aspects of construction contracting including the management of changes and variations.
Strong problem-solving skills.
15 years or more of EPCM / EPC experience including supervision of contractors and field personnel either with an EPC / EPCM organization or a Construction Contractor background.
Significant experience in the construction environment and a thorough knowledge of all phases of construction is essential to have.
Experience working on process plants and mining projects is a must.

Able to get the best out of our on-site construction sub-contractors by being supportive and doing whatever we can to assist them to be successful.
Cold weather construction experience is mandatory for this role.
