As a Technical Sales and Support Engineer, you will serve as a trusted partner to both clients and internal teams—delivering expert guidance, troubleshooting process challenges, and identifying opportunities to enhance hydrogen peroxide applications. With approximately 70% of your time dedicated to technical support, you'll lead field trials, analyze performance data, and provide practical solutions tailored to mining and water treatment environments. The remaining 30% of your role will focus on sales enablement: contributing technical insights to business proposals, identifying growth opportunities, and helping clients adopt innovative technologies that drive safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working model based in Sydney. Expectation would be to be at the Banksmeadow manufacturing site a minimum of 2 days every week. You must be able to travel up to 30% of your time.

Relevant work experience of more than 3 years of work experience in the chemical industry, exposure to the mining industry is preferred .
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) or Science (Chemistry or Metallurgy).
Technical Problem-Solving & Analysis: Ability to diagnose issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
Field Trial Design and Execution: Ability to design, set up, and execute field trials safely, including data collection and analysis, to demonstrate product efficacy and optimize applications
Safety Consciousness: Prioritizing safety in all aspects of work, particularly when handling hazardous materials and conducting field trials. Collaborative Communication: Actively listening and sharing information effectively with clients and internal teams to build strong relationships and ensure alignment.
Proactive Problem-Solving: Demonstrating initiative to anticipate and address technical challenges, rather than simply reacting to them.
Client Relationship Management & Communication: Effectively building relationships and conveying technical information.
Hydrogen Peroxide Application Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the product and its use. Mining Industry Knowledge: Understanding the specific processes and challenges of the mining sector.

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Australia base pay reasonably expected for this role is 135,000 to 165,000 AUD, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
