Water and wastewater service provider delivering supply, treatment and recovery to SE Queensland.
You will provide critical support to Accounting and Assurance team. This includes the design, testing and documentation of financial controls, ensuring that financial transactions and reports are recorded in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. You will also support Urban Utilities’ external financial reporting requirements as well as the delivery of the annual external audit plan.
We currently have an opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the Corporate and Finance Group contributing to the delivery of timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. This includes the preparation and posting of journals to the finance system plus the preparation and review of account reconciliations.
