This role is based at our Coventry Head Office, where you’ll oversee local HSE compliance, with regular site visits across the UK to support operational teams. You’ll work closely with our site managers and engineers to ensure safe systems of work are in place and that health, safety, and environmental standards are consistently upheld.

  • Provide guidance to site teams on HSE best practice and regulatory compliance
  • Deliver internal HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks
  • Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Carry out PAT testing and building compliance checks
  • Review subcontractor RAMS and ensure site adherence
  • Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and prepare formal reports
  • Maintain and monitor HSE compliance at the Coventry Head Office and workshop
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across UK project sites
  • Support the SHEQ team with continuous improvement initiatives

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our SHEQ Compliance Team in Coventry.

If you’re a confident, site-experienced HSE professional looking for a role where you can make an impact across both head office and operational environments, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Able to work independently and proactively in both office and site environments
  • Strong understanding of HSE in construction or quarrying environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full, clean UK driving licence (travel to sites required)
  • Certified Internal Auditor (desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within construction, quarrying, or heavy industry
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
  • IOSH membership preferred
  • Computer literate with strong documentation and reporting skills
