Ensure all DOT-regulated equipment meets compliance requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
Assist with road calls or breakdowns when needed.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, small engines, and mechanical equipment.
Properly handle tools, chemicals, hazardous waste, and shop equipment.
Properly store and track tools and shop equipment.
Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and hazard control procedures.
Document all maintenance activities in the fleet management system.
Assist with identifying parts needed for repairs.
Complete repairs in accordance with company, safety, and manufacturer standards.
Conduct pre- and post-service inspections.
Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations.
Report major issues, additional repair needs, or safety concerns to the Shop Foreman.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related issues.
Participate in safety meetings, audits, and training.
Notify the Shop Foreman of part shortages or supply needs.

Two (2) years of experience in mechanical, automotive, diesel, or equipment repair.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent
18 years of age or older, or 21 if CDL is required.
Certifications in diesel, small engine, or equipment repair.
Experience with maintenance or fleet management systems
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
