He kōrero mōu – About You: The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in animal care, dog training, public education, or a veterinary setting, can communicate confidently with the public and colleagues, and demonstrates resilience when dealing with the emotional aspects of adoption work. Physical stamina is required for manual tasks, and flexibility is essential for occasional work across multiple shelter locations and rostered weekends or public holidays.
Location: Pukekohe. Salary and employment: $65,000 to $70,000 per annum plus Kiwisaver & Benefits, permanent full‑time (40 hours/week). Work schedule follows a rotating roster that includes weekends and public holidays.
