Description

Support the development of junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practice in project management.

As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale automation and electrical engineering projects. You will be responsible for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget. Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes to ensure successful project outcomes.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead, organise, and motivate teams to deliver automation and control projects to client specifications and deadlines.

Drive project quality through compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.

Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Significant experience managing engineering, automation, or control systems projects, ideally within industrial sectors.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Relevant degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical or business field.
