The Drywall Director will serve as the senior leader responsible for the planning, execution, and management of drywall operations across multiple projects. This role requires a strong balance of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on field oversight. The Drywall Director will collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and trade partners to ensure successful delivery while driving efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Provide mentorship, training, and professional development for division staff.
- Lead and manage the drywall division, including project managers, field supervisors, and crews.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, budgets, and performance goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on business development and market growth opportunities.
- Oversee all phases of drywall construction on commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Establish and enforce quality control and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
- Build and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.

- Masters degree in Business Administration preferred.

- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and large teams effectively.
- Proven track record overseeing drywall operations on large-scale commercial construction projects.
- 10+ years of drywall/construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Availability and ability to travel.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, or related field required.
- Advanced knowledge of the construction industry and specific client market required.
- Strong knowledge of drywall systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
