Assist with activities related to project scope, schedule, budgets, documentation, submittals, quality, communications, and disciplines coordination
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project deliverables.
Work with MEP, Structural Engineering and Architecture Departments on multi-disciplinary projects for NYCDEP and NYCT
Assist with report writing and development of contract documents
Develop sketches, diagrams, design alternatives, calculations, and permitting and construction drawings under the supervision of an experienced civil engineer
Attend project/client meetings

Requirements

5+ years

Strong analytical and communications skills
Working knowledge of standard engineering software, e.g., AutoCAD and Civil 3D, H&H modelling, and MicroStation a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary engineering teams
5+ years’ experience in planning and design of multi-disciplinary engineering projects, including civil-site and water/wastewater/stormwater related infrastructure
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) License required
NYCDEP experience preferred
BS, Civil Engineering; MS desirable
