Manager - Asset Commissioning

Description

• Actively participate in and progress projects focusing on Commissioning Activities the optimisation of the Monitoring and Control capabilities and data availability.
• The commissioning Lead shall Coordinated Site head / Commissioning Head/ Commissioning Coordinator along team to properly understand project Commissioning schedule.
• Coordinates meetings and presents reports to various Project Delivery and subcontractor team members regarding status and progress of project start-up and commission activities.
• Tracks multiple work task schedules, provides schedule progression updates, and proactively identifies schedule constraints.
• Check the Control, Power & Scada schemes for all equipment’s.
• Interaction with consultants / vendors for expediting review of documents.
• Ensures that plant start-up, testing and commissioning procedures are executed in a standardized method and observations/results are documented in a consistent format.
• Ensure team working and quality output.
• Preparation of Daily Progress Report.
• Enable good working relationship and knowledge exchange with other teams within the renewables business.
• Carry out vendor assessment in association with Quality Assurance.
• Prepares and maintains up to date files, records and reports on status and progress of start-up and commission efforts on our various wind projects
• Drafts and prepares various forms of written communications to project management, subcontractors, and client technical support personnel.
• Coordinates efforts of various stakeholders needed to work collaboratively on plant start-up and commission activities (internal resources, key equipment vendors, PV Plant contractor(s) and Substation EPC contractor).
• Attend and support the SAT Tests for major and relevant electrical components.
• Publishes original materials and continually enhances documentation surrounding the processes, procedures, responsibility matrix and tools to be used during a project’s start-up, testing and commissioning phases.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and industry best practices
• 12-14 years of experience in the Renewable Energy industry
• Demonstrated experience in performance optimization of renewable energy assets
• Availability to travel and to stay for necessary periods in project sites.
• Inverters / WTG
• Proven track record of leading and managing commissioning activities for renewable energy projects
• Comprehends and ensures compliance with applicable environmental, interconnection, transmission operator and client rules, regulations, and standards. Capable of understanding and complying with the contractual terms outlined in various agreements and contracts.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Renewable Energy) or related field
• Experience in Solar PV System and their infrastructure.
