Assist in the review of development and land use applications.
Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for spatial analysis, mapping, and presentation materials.
Provide technical support in the preparation of master plans, zoning ordinances, affordable housing plans, and redevelopment plans.
Attend and support public meetings, planning board hearings, and community engagement events.
Conduct site investigations, field assessments, and data collection.
Prepare planning studies, reports, and related documents.
Collaborate closely with senior planners and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality planning solutions.

Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills required.
Eligibility to sit for the New Jersey Professional Planner (PP) licensing exam within two years of hire (if not already licensed).
Minimum of two (2) years of professional planning experience preferred.
Master’s Degree in Urban Planning or a related discipline preferred; Bachelor’s Degree required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with ArcGIS Pro and other planning software preferred.
