What you would be doing

Respond to service orders concerning customers, including equipment change-outs, device commissioning, and system troubleshooting.
Communicate with customers, contractors, and co-workers, and respond to inquiries in a timely fashion.
Perform other duties as required including occasional drawing reviews/updates, tenant surveys, and occasional meter reading.
Coordinate electrician presence onsite and execute project micro-management upon completion-follow up on any new opportunities.
Partake in department workflow, stay aware of ongoing projects, and assist when necessary.
Use specific software to commission/program electronic/thermal/water meters, and remote data collection hardware, and complete all relevant paperwork associated with the assignment.

Proven proficiency in Visio and AutoCAD.
Ability to work collaboratively with customers and vendors, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
At least two years of related field work experience or any equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Strong PC skills as well as demonstrated skills in reading sub-meter drawings, diagrams, and wiring layouts.
Reliable team player.
The employee will need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
An organized self-starter, able to follow standard procedures, prioritize assignments, and address problems as they arise or seek appropriate help.
Valid state-issued driver's license.
An associate's or Bachelor's Degree in electronics, computer technician, or instrumentation is strongly preferred.
Demonstrates knowledge of programming, testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of electronic and mechanical meters.
