The Service Business Development and Service Sales Specialist is responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth in the service sector of the company. This role involves identifying potential clients, developing relationships, and promoting service offerings to meet customer needs. The specialist will collaborate closely with the sales team, service delivery teams, and management to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's footprint in the service market.
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase service capabilities.
Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Research and identify potential clients in target markets.
Liaise with service delivery teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and service delivery.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop marketing materials and campaigns targeting service clients.
Work closely with product development teams to incorporate client feedback and enhance service offerings.
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Manage the sales process from lead qualification to closing deals.
Keep abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue objectives.
Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's services to prospective clients.
Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to management.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
Proven track record of success in service business development and sales.
Previous experience in the service industry or related fields is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of service industry dynamics and trends.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
Experience: Candidates must have experience and worked their way up from entry-level in Service Management, Service Delivery and Sales - at least 4 to 5 years of Service Management and Sales experience or relevant experience in specific industries or domains.
Understand client needs and pain points to tailor service offerings.
Education: A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Instrumental, Mechanical, or Electromechanical field or bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing. Master's degree is a plus.
Industry-specific certifications or training programs are a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. •
