  • Attend project meetings and contribute to stakeholder communications
  • Maintain records of variations, payments, and subcontractor communications
  • Support the preparation of tender documents, cost plans, and procurement schedules
  • Help measure and value works on-site and contribute to interim valuations and final accounts
  • Participate in cost reporting and forecasting activities, learning how to track budgets and identify risks
  • Assist in administering JCT contracts, including issuing notices and updating documentation
  • Managing subcontractor accounts, including processing payments and tracking changes
  • Provide general support to the commercial team and contribute to a collaborative working environment
  • Liaise with site teams and suppliers to gather commercial data and support project delivery
  • Assist in the commercial management of façade projects under the supervision of Senior QS

My client is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, with a keen interest in developing their career in construction cost management. Ideal candidates will have a solid grounding in main contracting or façade works, supported by relevant university-level qualifications.
