Construction Labourer L3

Description

• Operate advanced power tools and machinery, including (but not limited to) jackhammers, concrete mixers, compactors, and power saws.
• Identify potential safety risks and report or correct them immediately.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, hazard controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in site preparation, material handling, demolition, excavation, concrete work, and other assigned tasks.
• Provide support, direction, and informal training to junior labourers
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and organized job site.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Perform a wide range of skilled construction labour tasks independently.
• Strong understanding of safety policies and safe working practices
• Several years (3–5+) experience as a construction labourer or similar role.
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in varying conditions.
• Competence with hand and power tools and measurement instruments
• Detail oriented, accurate, and effective communicator with strong ethic
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, tools, and materials.
