The IT Support Technician provides computer support to residents and staff, handling hardware, software, and network issues with exemplary customer service, diagnosing and resolving low‑level problems promptly.
- Provide computer support for IT equipment, software, and networks to residents and staff.
- Instruct users on proper system usage and offer tips to improve IT operations.
- Respond to service requests via phone, walk‑ins, or tickets and route complex issues to the LCS IT Support Team.
- Deliver basic computer skills training and assist with hardware inventory, PC setup, and printer replacement.
- Perform hardware maintenance, recommend repairs or replacements, and support tech/A‑V setup for meetings.
- Train staff on system functionalities to maximize their use.
- Assist with onboarding new residents and staff on technology.
- Install software and updates per IT authorization.
- Participate in in‑service training, digital communications, and other community duties as assigned.
- Maintain flexibility to work occasional nights/weekends and lift up to 30 lb.

The position requires flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends, participation in training sessions, and assistance with onboarding, AV setup, and other community technology needs.
- Two‑year degree or high school diploma/GED plus minimum two years IT security experience; certification and help‑desk experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IT concepts, analytical problem‑solving, and ability to install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a hospitality‑focused service mindset.
- Experience installing/configuring PCs, printers, and peripherals.
