Senior Consultant

Description

• Interact with a diverse set of clients including government agency personnel, public officials, business, and nonprofit staff
• Review reports, technical memos, and other deliverables
• Work with the various law enforcement and regulatory agencies as required
• Synthesize and analyze human-induced threat and natural hazard data
• Develop presentations and support delivery at client locations
• Work closely with government emergency management, law enforcement and security agencies
• Conduct security assessments and develop comprehensive security plans, policies, and procedures, often in collaboration with other team members and clients

Requirements

• The ability to occasionally walk and/or stand for extended periods of time, often in outdoor environments
• Excellent technical writing skills
• 20 or more years of related/relevant experience
• Ability to travel periodically to meet client and project needs
• Travel throughout the U.S. (travel estimated at 5-15% of the year)
• US Citizen, with current driver’s license and ability to travel by air, bus, train, etc.
• Familiarity with electronic security system platforms/technologies (video, access controls, etc.)
• Proficiency with standard MS Office tools, laptop computers, and/or related tools
• Basic business acumen and the ability to understand and support client relationships
• Ability to pass multiple detailed background checks (including criminal history) and drug screening
• Ability to work in commercial and industrial settings and follow strict safety protocols
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in security or emergency management, systems engineering, international relations, homeland security or other applicable field
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger team to support business objectives
• Fluent written and verbal English communication skills
