The Managing Consultant/Associate Director will act as a technical project manager for a diverse portfolio that includes capital infrastructure, energy system studies, and internal client projects. Reporting to the Arizona Account Director, the role leads delivery of strategic advisory, engineering studies, financial management, compliance, technology transformation, data analytics, and risk management focused on decarbonization, electrification and grid transformation.
- Manage and mentor project teams, coordinating workstreams and timelines.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, establishing KPIs and reporting outcomes.
- Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and strategic direction.
- Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, contracts, and financials.
- Analyze data to generate insights and optimize performance.
- Identify issues, propose solutions, and provide operational stakeholder support.
- Coach adoption of project‑management methodology and drive change.
- Collaborate with client accounts to create innovative solutions and enhance satisfaction.

- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder/financial management abilities.
- Excellent communication, critical‑thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel and work onsite in Phoenix, AZ (or relocate).
- Residence within 50 mi of Phoenix, AZ.
- Master’s degree in electrical/power systems engineering or related discipline.
- PMP certification.
- Experience with large engineering capital projects in the energy sector.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
- Proven ability to deliver presentations to executive audiences.
