Identify, monitoring and report any emerging risks to project team, whilst contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to raise and establish safety performance and culture
Assist with safety reporting and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Provide health and safety advice, training, and support to construction personnel and subcontractors
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety plans
Ensure health and safety are always front of mind of all personnel
Support OFSC audit process
Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and project-specific standards
Daily pre-start, toolbox talk, site inductions and safety briefings
Act as a point of contact for on-site health and safety queries

We are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support a BESS Project in Gnarwarre, Victoria.
Experience working in high-risk, high pressure and fast paced environments
Attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Tertiary qualifications in Safety or a related field
SafeWork VIC “White Card”
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to identify all potential and imminent hazards on a site and be able to address them positively and proactively ensuring effective control measures to mitigate risks and compliance
Proven knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and safety systems
Minimum 5 years of experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry
