The incumbent will initiate calls to obtain the status of claims in the queue and contact insurance companies to clarify denials and under‑payments. They will take appropriate actions to guarantee claim resolution, document those actions in billing summary notes, and ensure accurate, timely follow‑up where required. Prioritization of pending claims from the aging basket and making physical calls in compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA rules are also key duties, along with handling denials, rejections, and LOAs to make necessary claim corrections.
Applicants must hold a graduate degree, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and be willing to work night shifts. An average typing speed of at least 25 words per minute is required.
