Assist the leader in the set-up of the machine.
Review's work orders or takes direction from the leadership team to determine what jobs are required, and in what order to run them.
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product.
Monitor's quality of alignment and weld process, pipe specifications, cement lining, and application of coating.
Ensures machine is kept running by observing and correcting problems that arise.
Adheres to all safety rules and brings safety issues to the attention of department leadership or safety manager.
Follows all work procedures, policies, and protocols.
Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs to machinery and equipment. Refers electrical and hydraulic problems to maintenance department for resolution.
Verifies that all positions have been checked and ready to start.

The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to compute ratio and percent and to interpret bar graphs.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to read and interpret linear and circumference measurements using tape measures and calipers.
Must be able to operate computer controlled hydrostatic test stand, including reading and interpreting console indicators and gauges, and using control console to conduct tests.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations to employees, and members of leadership.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance.
Must be able to read, write, and interpret simple documents and instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Knowledge of welding processes preferred.
Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must have the willingness to rotate to different positions as requested by manager or team leader.
