  • Champion a culture of measurement, experimentation, and continuous learning
  • Create dashboards and narratives that connect the dots between data and decisions
  • Translate complex analysis into actionable insights for executives and teams alike

  • Build the company-wide metrics lexicon and event taxonomy that power our decisions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and interpret A/B tests, adoption metrics, and performance frameworks
  • Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
  • Define Clearstory's analytics roadmap across Product, Growth, Marketing, and GTM
  • Analyze acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization to identify growth levers
  • Collaborate with Engineering and RevOps to ensure our data infrastructure scales cleanly and reliably
  • Develop models for LTV, churn, and segmentation that inform product and pricing strategy
  • Elevate data literacy across departments through training, documentation, and storytelling
  • Mentor and empower analysts to think strategically and communicate with clarity

  • Proven ability to create alignment across ambiguous or fragmented data sets
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills
  • Have a builder's mindset—eager to create systems that outlast you
  • Expert-level SQL (BigQuery preferred) and fluency with tools like Looker, Metabase, Dataform, dbt, Mixpanel, or Amplitude
  • Ability to work with a new product category that has already found product market fit
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing, modeling, ETL, and reverse-ETL tooling and best practices
  • 6+ years in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science—ideally in B2B SaaS or a high-growth environment
  • Love turning messy data into clarity and insight
  • Experience leading or mentoring teams, formally or informally
