The position is responsible for driving sales of ABB’s Electrification Smart Buildings products in NYC, meeting both qualitative and quantitative targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction while identifying new sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with electrical contractors at all organizational levels.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to grow market share, margin, and encourage contractors to select ABB solutions.
- Provide technical presentations, create cost‑effective proposals from project specs, and negotiate project orders.
- Track leads, wins, and losses in Salesforce and analyze hit‑rate data.

- Bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred) or GED with 8+ years of sales experience.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the electrical industry.
- Knowledge of ABB switchgear, switchboards, panel boards, transformers, breakers, and experience quoting multi‑family projects.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain it.
- Authorized to work in the United States for ABB.
Benefits
Compensation includes a salary range of $79,800 to $127,680 with bonus eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package covering health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, parental leave, retirement plans, paid holidays, and flexible vacation policies.
