In this role you will lead and coordinate all activities for on‑time delivery of Steam tendering projects, working with marketing, manufacturing engineering, production, planning, and procurement to define technical requirements and ensure collaborative decision‑making.
You will act as the primary contact for internal partners and external customers, support the Project Manager with emergent work requests, handle quotation requests, and negotiate scope changes throughout the product warranty phase.
- Direct and coordinate all activities for timely delivery of Steam tendering projects, including full turbine or valve set replacements.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Planning, and Procurement to clarify technical work and resources.
- Ensure collaborative technical decision‑making when issues extend beyond a single team member.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal business partners and external customers on project/proposal matters.
- Support Project Manager with facilitation of Emergent Work Requests (EWRs) to maintain seamless financial workflow.
- Receive quotation requests and assist SEI GS Service groups in negotiating additional scope during order entry and warranty phase.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, have 5‑8 years of experience in project management, planning, or steam product/manufacturing engineering, possess strong work ethic, excellent communication and analytical skills, and be proficient with ERP systems such as SAP.
The role is onsite in Charlotte, NC, requires personal transportation, up to 5 % travel, and involves shop‑floor work including walking and lifting up to 40 lb.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree.
- 5‑8 years experience in project management, planning, or steam product/manufacturing engineering (valve knowledge preferred).
- Strong work ethic with ability to deliver high‑quality results with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP.
- Willingness to travel up to 5 % and lift up to 40 lb.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
