The Telematics Operations Manager will be a key contributor to scaling and improving Carrier’s telematics operations, supporting both the dealer network and external customers. This role will lead the implementation and enhancement of analytics and reporting processes that drive commercial growth, and manage the tools and systems essential for subscription management. Close collaboration with Finance, the Director of Telematics, and other functional teams will be required to deliver effective dashboard analytics and reporting.
Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining customer accounts on telematics and API platforms, owning the monthly invoicing and billing processes with Finance, and tracking critical metrics such as subscription growth, pricing, and conversion rates for dashboard reporting. The manager will work with Finance, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales to develop business reporting solutions, maintain positive relationships with the Carrier dealer network, and provide onboarding and systems training for new telematics team members.
Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of experience in a sales, operations, or engineering role, and five years of data‑analytics experience using Excel tools such as PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
Preferred qualifications include experience with telematics subscription management, proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or similar BI tools, knowledge of operational databases like JDE and Salesforce, and familiarity with dealer networks and telematics device commissioning. Strong multitasking, prioritization, communication, and the ability to translate complex data into executive summaries are also essential.
Carrier offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, wellness incentives, retirement plans, generous paid time off, short‑ and long‑term disability, life insurance, tax‑advantaged accounts, and tuition assistance. Eligible employees may also receive short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
