Always maintain high quality standards, effectiveness, and thoroughness
Operate the Waste Water Treatment system when necessary
Maintain the cleanliness of the shop and functional condition of all tools
Install production & facility equipment in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment
Maintain a neat and orderly work area in accordance with established housekeeping procedures and requirements to ensure a safe and clean work environment
Responsible for continued use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Represent the RMC values, objectives, and policies
Install & repair industrial pumps (electric & AOD), Valves (actuated & manual) with materials of construction (metal: steel, stainless, bronze) or PVC and Piping (SS, PVC, copper, etc.)
Maintain a neat and orderly work area in accordance with established housekeeping procedures and requirements to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Perform general janitorial or custodial duties as required
Rebuild necessary equipment components as needed
Perform preventative maintenance tasks on production (Blending & Packaging) and facility equipment

2 years previous experience in facilities and custodial maintenance in a commercial or office environment
Diagnose & trouble shoot operational, process, mechanical and electrical problems
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
Excellent safety standards & awareness
Strong ability to build relationships to include culture building & teamwork
Working & performing tasks safely from elevated work platforms or ladders.
Higher education (AAS or higher) preferred
Previous boiler, pipe cutting, welding, industrial design etc. preferred
Ability to advise (potential failures, recommendations/ improvements
Trouble shooting, problem solving and technical knowledge & skill
3 to 5 years previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or technician for a commercial or manufacturing facility
Exposure to both office & manufacturing environments.
Demonstrate a high work ethic with focus on safety, quality and cost effectiveness
Approachable with a favorable positive image
Mechanically inclined, and possess agility/ manual dexterity to safely operate hand and power tools
Analytical problem solving and diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical problems
Resourceful & adaptable
Basic computer and email proficiency, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Wearing of proper PPE such as safety glasses/goggles/shield, safety shoes, and hearing protection is required.
Effective communication skills to include verbal, nonverbal and listening skills
Exposure to noise levels up to 80 decibels.
Must be able to remain on feet for extended periods and be able to lift/carry/move up to 50 lbs.
Skilled trade certification(s) or equivalent work experience preferred
Ability to work independently, perform physical labor; and follow instructions.
Effective, accurate & thorough
2 years’ experience with forklift and scissor lift operation
High school diploma or equivalent
Understanding of methods, materials, tools, and equipment to perform repairs & preventative maintenance
