Develop customer-facing product documentation and presentations.
Provide a realistic timeline and set customer expectations by evaluating schematics, plans, and estimating product cost and labor.
Lead technical training with the global sales team on the changes and updates to our products, including Tracker Offerings, TrueCapture Software, and Power Electronics.
Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understand the implications of work and make recommendations for solutions.
Develop and help maintain quoting tools to be used by the global sales team.
Provide technical support to the sales team during client meetings & engagements
Travel to customer sites, suppliers, and 3rd party testing facilities, as needed.
Analyze and suggest the most common use cases for the product development roadmap.
Collaborate with Nextracker’s internal departments, including but not limited to: Sales, Products, Marketing, Procurement, Logistics, Planning, Project Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Asset Management; to understand and account for all project impacting costs.
Perform generation analysis and system optimization with solar design software.
Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.

3-5 years of experience related to utility-scale solar power systems.

Experience using Salesforce.com and NetSuite CRM/reporting features.

Knowledge of Solar, Tracker, and Storage Applications.
Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus.
Self-motivated, independent, technical aptitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to solve complex problems and efficiently communicate said solutions.
Aptitude for and knowledge of project engineering, procurement, and construction processes and procedures, with the ability to create processes
Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate professionally verbally, in writing, and with presentations.
Understanding technical specifications, drawings, tender documents, preparation/development of cost estimates, written proposals, and sales presentations of both a technical & commercial nature.
Understanding of commercial and financial aspects of the Solar industry.
Experience working with electrical schematics.
Knowledge of engineering economics and optimization processes
Incredible attention to detail
Experience working with customers on a technical and commercial level.
Experience deploying grid-tied equipment such as PV, Energy Storage, Transformers, or Co-generation, Solar Trackers, and Solar Power Plant Optimizing Software.
Comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere with a rapidly expanding customer base and product offering.
Advanced Excel skillset and experience using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and IF/THEN formulas.
