Quality Control Engineer (Welding Engineer) has responsibilities of reviewing all Vendor manufacturing documents (e.g. Manufacturing Purchase Specification, Inspection and Test Plan, Welding Dossier covering WPS, PQR, repair procedures, Test Procedures, NDE Procedures etc.) to assure that they comply with Design and Manufacturing Codes and Standards and with specific Project Specifications. He reports to Procurement QC Manager (Project) and to the Inspection Department Manager.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical/metallurgical engineering
Experience in PQR Qualification
API Certifications (Q36, 570, 571, SIFE)
Experienced in most used materials in Oil & Gas industry (Carbon Steel, Low Alloy Steel, Austenitic Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel, Ni Alloys, etc.)
NDT Level II
Deep knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, NACE Codes.
Technical Skills
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI/CSWIP)
10-15 years’ experience in quality control of manufacturing and welding processes of static equipment, valve and piping components. Experience in producing/reviewing manufacturing and quality documents.
