Develop clear work plans, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and proactively identify and manage delivery risk

Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats
Experience applying hydrologic and hydraulic theory to realworld design and decisionmaking
Undergraduate degree in Water Resources, Civil or Environmental Engineering from a recognized postsecondary institution. A graduate degree in the hydrotechnical discipline will be considered an asset.
Strong understanding of Ontario municipal, provincial, conservation authority, and federal standards and permitting processes
Minimum 7 years of related experience
Integrated roadway, crossing, and structure modifications to address hydraulic constraints and flooding concerns
Experience reviewing and guiding spreadsheetbased and statistical analyses
Skilled in statistical software like R and HECSSP, and GIS mapping and geoprocessing tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS
Registered with PEO as a P.Eng. (or eligible to register)
Highly proficient in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, modelling platforms and design of public infrastructure projects in urban and rural settings
Working knowledge of CADD software such as Autodesk Civil3D / Bentley OpenRoads
Experience with scripting, automation, or applied digital tools is considered an asset.
