The engineer will work closely with design and drafting teams to generate chiller layout concepts and system configurations, create engineering documentation, and execute test programs to verify performance and reliability of electrical and mechanical components. They will also analyze test data, provide design input, and communicate findings to engineering teammates, managers, product management, and business leaders.
Key technical responsibilities include applying regulatory codes such as UL, CE, PED, and ASME, incorporating manufacturing process considerations into designs, reporting project status, and driving continuous improvement within a global product development environment.
Candidates must hold a BS in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program and have at least five years of experience in a design and product development setting. Preferred expertise includes electrical engineering concepts (motors, controls, wiring) and a strong background in refrigeration systems and components.
