Operator - Packaged and Bulk

Description

• Work autonomously to perform production and administration tasks that keep the plant operating optimally
• Assist with plant maintenance while strictly following Orica safety, health and environment guidelines
• Perform physical, labour‑intensive duties for production and maintenance, plus administrative tasks such as inventory, data and product management
• Operate critical equipment, including pumps and augers

Requirements

• Prior fixed‑plant operating experience preferred, especially in chemical manufacturing
• Experience in explosives manufacturing is a strong advantage
• Manual labour experience preferred
• Forklift licence preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
• Hold a valid C‑class driver’s licence (essential)
• Pass all relevant security checks
• Demonstrate strong adherence to safe work practices
• Possess intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, SAP) – an advantage
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
