Project Manager – Architecture or Engineering (Hawaii)

Description

• Foster Collaboration – Coordinate across disciplines, including architects, engineers, planners, and consultants, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead Projects – Direct multidisciplinary teams from planning and design through construction, ensuring high-quality deliverables, timely completion, and alignment with client goals.
• Champion Community & Culture – Engage with the local community and honor Hawaiian values of respect, balance, and teamwork in all aspects of work.
• Uphold Quality – Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client expectations while promoting innovation and constructability.

Requirements

• Technical expertise with industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite).
• Strong track record of client development and relationship management.
• Previous work on federal, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
• Background in site development, utilities, or aviation/transportation projects a plus.
• Experience in business development and proposal preparation (seller/doer mindset).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead presentations and engage stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 12–15+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated success managing large and complex projects.
• Familiarity with local Hawaiian regulations, permitting, and construction practices.
• Professional Licensure: Registered Architect or Professional Engineer.
• Experience recruiting, mentoring, and developing staff.
