Levels concrete to specified depth and workable consistency with handheld screen and floats to bring water to surface and produce soft topping.
Responsible and accountable for the safety of all co-workers and any others incumbent comes in contact with.
Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces and patches holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.
Operates all equipment and tools required to do each job which may include cement mixing machines, power trowels, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and other instruments.
Moves discharge chute of truck to direct concrete into forms.
Produces rough concrete surface with broom.
Signals concrete truck driver to position vehicle to facilitate pouring concrete.
Spreads concrete into inaccessible sections of forms with rake or shovel.
Sprinkles colored stone chips, powdered steel, or coloring powder on concrete to produce prescribed finish.
Finishes concrete surfaces, and wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to finish.
Mixes cement with hoe or concrete-mixing machine.
Maintains equipment and tools to ensure long lasting use.
