The Road Mechanic role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and advanced repairs performed at customer locations to minimize equipment downtime. Technicians work on a variety of equipment, ranging from general construction tools to large‑scale generators, HVAC systems, and oil‑and‑gas machinery, while adhering to strict safety standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and execute advanced repairs on diverse equipment at customer sites.
- Service aerial work platforms, construction tools, large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil‑and‑gas equipment.
- Provide personal tools of trade and follow safety‑focused procedures.

Successful candidates typically hold a high school diploma or GED, with trade school training and 1–2 years of experience on diesel or heavy‑construction equipment preferred. - Utilize knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems for troubleshooting.
- Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment; bilingual ability may be required.
