The Fire Sprinkler Project Manager is responsible for organizing, managing, and planning complex projects within the Sprinkler Department, evaluating contractor and consultant bids, and enforcing contract provisions.
In this role you will oversee a team of managers and analysts, delegate work based on expertise and time constraints, and lead interdepartmental teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, to specifications, and with efficiency. Responsibilities include cost analysis, budgeting, risk assessment, serving as a liaison among company, customers, and vendors, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and all relevant regulations.
Technical duties involve preparing and submitting drawings for Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) approval, creating and revising 3D models, and staying current with advancements in material and software technologies. You will design plumbing, as‑built, site water supply, and MEP drawings, interpret architectural and structural plans, produce electrical schematics, and verify hydraulic calculations for fire‑condition emergencies.
Candidates must have at least two years of experience managing complex fire sprinkler projects and hold PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable certifications. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills are essential, along with analytical problem‑solving abilities, supervisory experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
