The role focuses on nuclear power plant systems design, including preparing and reviewing modification packages for operating plants, creating functional mechanical drawings, conducting engineering analyses and evaluations, developing technical specifications and procurement documents, evaluating vendor bids, and performing studies and options evaluations for plant modifications.
Additional responsibilities include developing engineering cost estimates for client‑requested scopes, visiting client offices or plant sites to interface and present engineering status, and leading engineering project teams.
Candidates must hold a BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program with coursework in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer, possess at least 12 years of nuclear power industry experience, have working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations, and a PE license is beneficial but not required; the company does not sponsor work authorization in the U.S.
