Proficient in systems including Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, P6, B2W (or equivalent estimating software), Procore, and Viewpoint.
This role requires the ability to utilize, maintain, and wear all PPE as required by JR Merit, the client, and any other applicable regulatory agency or management directive.
Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
This position is based out of our corporate office in Vancouver, WA. Frequent travel or temporary relocation may be required to support JR Merit’s projects.
You have experience in the market sectors that JR Merit, Inc. services ( specifically federal/Army Corp of Engineers, wastewater management, water resources, and heavy civil/structural ).
Experience managing construction projects of $5M+.
You are self-motivated to seek clients and projects that can benefit from JR Merit, Inc.’s craftsmanship, enthusiasm, and capabilities.
Ability to perform and teach detailed estimating and takeoffs for project change management.
A Bachelors Degree in Construction, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Equivalent technical experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
