The role focuses on the Fasteners category—including screws, nuts, bolts, washers and pins—and manages a mix of VMI programs and long‑lead‑time purchases for domestic distributors and overseas vendors, supporting manufacturing sites in North America and abroad.
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for fastener categories aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and commodity trends to uncover performance and competitive opportunities.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership for sourcing initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Assess and mitigate supplier risks by creating and implementing contingency plans to ensure supply continuity.
- Partner with Master Scheduling, Planning, Manufacturing, Distribution Centers, and external suppliers to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, track key KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across the supply base.

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Bring 2–5 years of supply chain or related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead category strategies and manage supplier networks.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience handling complex supplier agreements.
- Proven record of cost‑reduction, productivity improvement, risk mitigation, and capacity expansion projects.
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Agile, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Collaborative communicator with effective problem‑solving abilities.
- Preferred: Experience consolidating SKUs and spend across diverse suppliers.
- Preferred: Developed SKU/component catalogs and managed large tail spend (500+ SKUs).
- Preferred: Hands‑on experience with RFQs.

The total compensation includes a base salary range of $80,000‑$110,000 USD plus an annual bonus or role‑based sales incentive plan.
