Conduct in-person trainings to a staff of 900+ employees, effectively conveying information that reflects the SCA’s EEO policies and procedures.
Liaise with staffing agencies to handle reasonable accommodation requests from contingent staff.
Maintain log of all EEO cases.
Strategically plan investigations with clear timelines and appropriate benchmarks.
Conduct thorough intake interviews regarding potential EEO violations, provide guidance on complaint procedures, and draft initial summaries.
Draft final reports summarizing investigative steps, findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Evaluate reasonable accommodation requests in accordance with the SCA’s policies, including reviewing requests and supporting documentation.
Assist with scheduling and tracking data related to trainings.
Gather and analyze statistical information to identify trends in employment practices, discrimination claims, and workforce demographics.
Obtain and evaluate evidence, including party interviews, in a thorough and timely manner.
Assist in developing training materials on EEO, Sexual Harassment, and Reasonable Accommodations.
Assist in developing proactive strategies to address potential issues and improve organizational practices.
Maintain log of all reasonable accommodation requests.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date files with all activity, correspondence, investigation reports, evidence, and memoranda.
Ensure effective communication between applicants or employees and the EEO Office at every stage of the request and throughout the reasonable accommodation process.

5+ years of experience in EEO, employment law, reasonable accommodations and/or related fields.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Public service, government, or non-profit employment experience.
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse constituency, and to present, influence, negotiate, and effectively coach employees to use best practices for maximum effectiveness.
Ability to work independently and respond to time-sensitive issues.
Current understanding of federal, state, and local employment and civil service laws required.
Background in mediation or alternative dispute resolution.
JD from an accredited law school a plus.
