The Landry is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will make a direct impact by assisting residents and supporting the maintenance team. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service through timely completion of service requests and proactive identification of potential liabilities.
You will handle a wide range of service requests throughout the property, including common areas, occupied and vacant units. Tasks include changing lightbulbs, unclogging pipes, fixing faucets, changing locks, installing or repairing floor tiles, interior and exterior painting, and assisting with trash outs and unit turns. You will also inspect appliances, HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, lighting, disposals and safety devices, and perform routine plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC repairs, as well as landscaping duties such as lawn mowing, leaf raking and shrub trimming.
The ideal candidate is passionate about helping the community, detail‑oriented, observant and a strong problem solver. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto liability insurance and a Type II or Universal EPA HVAC certification are required. You should possess a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills and be a true team player willing to support at all levels.
Work hours are Monday‑Friday 9 a.m.–6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.–5 p.m., with the expectation to work any day of the week and participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for emergencies. The position demands continuous walking, frequent lifting of up to 100 lb, climbing, stooping, bending and standing for the majority of the shift.
