Lead troubleshooting during outages or major incidents and coordinate rapid restoration.

Lead hands-on O&M activities across HVAC, BMS, and solar PV systems at BOOT project sites. The role includes advanced troubleshooting, supervision of junior technicians, coordination with control centers, and ensuring asset reliability, safety, and performance targets are achieved.

  • Respond promptly to client service requests via phone, email, and CAFM.
  • Extract and document energy, occupancy, and operational data affecting M&V.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental standards and report incidents promptly.
  • Conduct routine inspections, database backups, and controller program checks.
  • Diagnose inverter and string faults, support grid synchronization, and ensure performance targets are met.
  • Support procurement activities, track deliveries and warranties, and coordinate with subcontractors on contractual obligations.
  • Operate and monitor BMS to ensure reliable performance of HVAC, boilers, fire systems, access control, and integrated equipment.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, including part replacement and equipment operation in bypass mode when needed.
  • Develop and execute annual preventive maintenance plans for HVAC and PV systems.
  • Monitor SCADA systems, analyze plant data, and escalate complex issues to engineering teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of tools, PPE, consumables, and spare parts inventory.
  • Perform inspections, cleaning, and testing (IV curve, insulation resistance, thermography) of PV assets.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on control systems, DDCs, sensors, actuators, VFDs, and communication buses (BACnet, Modbus).
  • Ensure all activities comply with LV/MV electrical safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate on-site teams, subcontractors, and interventions to maintain optimal system efficiency.
  • Prepare weekly performance reports, including availability, downtime, and maintenance KPIs.
  • Lead daily site activities, allocate tasks, and supervise junior technicians and subcontractors.

  • Highly organized, rigorous, and effective in communication.
  • Minimum 5 years in O&M, including solar PV experience.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV system components (modules, inverters, combiner boxes, protection devices).
  • Proficient computer skills with ability to operate spreadsheets and word processing tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams (SLDs) and electrical schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, VFDs, AHUs) and BMS platforms.
  • Experience using SCADA systems and performance monitoring platforms.
  • Good at computing, English skills both oral and written,
  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Renewable Energy, or Electromechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • Proven leadership and team coordination capabilities.
  • Valid UAE D/L - Mandate
  • Hindi/Urdu – Oral Communication
  • Arabic is a plus
  • Competence in root cause analysis and complex fault diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of administration and record keeping processes.
