Support broader corporate and operational legal priorities and interface with state and federal agencies and regulators as necessary.
Create, maintain, and ensure compliance for legal entities, including drafting and adapting organizational documents using established templates.
Support the Company’s acquisitions and development platforms by providing legal analysis and transactional support as needed.
Manage and execute legal instruments supporting the property management platform, including service agreements, access and use licenses, lease amendments, and tenant improvement construction agreements.
Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial leases, partnering closely with Asset Management and collaborating with outside leasing counsel as appropriate.
Assist with transaction closings related to financings, acquisitions, dispositions, and securities offerings in coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
Ensure compliance with all legal obligations applicable to the Company and its managed assets, including title matters, ground leases, tenant agreements, and vendor contracts.

Demonstrated experience with commercial real estate leasing and acquisitions
Minimum of two years of real estate transactional experience at a law firm
Active (or imminent) membership in the Virginia State Bar
Medical office or healthcare real estate experience preferred
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Strong communication skills and comfort working cross functionally with asset management, development, finance, and senior leadership
Ability to apply sound legal judgment while remaining practical and business focused
