To monitor the performance of the supplier’s sub-suppliers and advise on the need to assist the supplier to expedite primary sub-supplier or those providing components
Participate in kick-off and progress meetings
Proactive surveillance of supplier progress
Coordinate with the responsible engineering, buyers, inspectors, logistics and material control
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
Coordinate timely responses of inhouse engineering
Manage supplier progress to ensure materials and equipment purchased is delivered on time
To act as the project’s representative at the suppliers' shop for expediting purposes
To produce accurate records on physical progress at suppliers' shop
Communicate and coordinate closely with the Project to ensure the most cost-effective use of time
Manage relations supplier frequently to obtain timely submission of engineering data
Represents Expediting in project meetings
Keeps expected dates up-to-date in the expediting system
To take the appropriate action with the supplier in the event of delays
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Knowledge of equipment and materials common in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects.
Regular, reliable attendance
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent degree and/or a minimum of 15 years’ experience in engineering and/or construction or equivalent work/field/military experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) with general knowledge of database utilization. SmartMaterials and/or SAP experience is a plus,
Read and understand fabrication schedules
Must have experience as an expediting manager – Supply Chain for EPC projects. Experience with Supply Chain for Nuclear market with a proven track record of successfully executed projects strongly preferred.
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
Detail-oriented, flexible and highly motivated with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
Effective time management and organizational skills with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
