Talent Acquisition Specialist

Description

The specialist will utilize Workday and other recruiting platforms to create and maintain job requisitions, post openings on job boards and social media, and develop job descriptions in collaboration with managers. They will manage the end‑to‑end hiring process, keeping hiring managers informed, conducting screenings and interviews, and extending offers while ensuring internal equity and market‑competitive compensation.

• Recruit, interview, vet, and hire candidates for technical, operations, and support positions.
• Create and maintain job requisitions in Workday and update candidate databases.
• Post openings on job boards, the company website, and social media platforms.
• Develop job descriptions with managers and implement sourcing strategies to increase applicant flow.
• Provide hiring managers with regular status updates and recommend new recruitment tactics.
• Act as the primary point of contact for applicants throughout the hiring process.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and give candidates an operational overview of the role.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and relay candidate feedback to hiring teams.
• Collaborate with HR to research market salary and benefit data for offers.
• Extend job offers and assist hiring managers with counter‑offer negotiations.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure internal equity in compensation decisions.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, analysis, and documentation.

Requirements

Success in this role requires strong organization, multitasking, and confidentiality, as well as the ability to build relationships across diverse personalities in a fast‑paced environment. Desired skills include Workday experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of candidate sourcing strategies, and familiarity with employment legislation.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and have at least seven years of professional recruiting experience, preferably within services or construction. Proficiency with staffing systems, Microsoft Suite, and data‑driven market analysis is essential.
