Description

The position involves coaching, driving, and leading lean behaviors, principles, and tools across operational or functional areas, with the goal of cultural transformation that improves key business metrics. The role carries autonomy to modify procedures as long as quality, volume, and timeliness standards are met.

Key responsibilities include end‑to‑end management of complex steam‑turbine outage events—planning schedules, coordinating labor, tooling and vendors, leading pre‑ and post‑outage meetings, and finalizing outage reports. The incumbent will act as site project manager or field engineer during outages, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost targets, while driving improvements in on‑time delivery, cost and productivity. Additional duties involve supporting project quotation development, preparing and managing execution documentation, and acting as technical liaison for customers during outages. Travel and the ability to work holidays, weekends and overtime are required.

• Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of complex steam turbine outage events.
• Act as onsite project manager or field engineer, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in on‑time delivery, outage cost reduction and productivity.
• Support project quotation development with scope definition, site condition checks and risk analysis.
• Manage and maintain execution documentation such as field procedures, ITPL, EHS and outage reports.
• Serve as technical liaison for customers during outages and assist the Customer Service Manager.
• Travel as needed and work holidays, weekends, and overtime when required.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (or a high‑school diploma/GED with six years of relevant experience) and demonstrate English proficiency and a solid background in steam turbine outage planning and execution. Desired traits include strong oral and written communication, project‑management and problem‑solving skills, deep technical knowledge of steam turbines and generators, and the ability to lead teams in challenging customer‑site environments. Field Engineering Program graduates are preferred.
