  • A broad understanding of various automation solutions and cybersecurity standards and policies implemented in utilities like TRANSCO, ADDC, AADC, DEWA, SEWA, and OETC is required.
  • Expected degree qualification: Bachelor of Engineering from recognized university (Electrical and Electronics or Electronics and Communication or equivalent)
  • Ability to coordinate, train, guide, direct, and manage a small team of support engineers from a common resource pool if necessary.
  • Capability to prepare AC/DC load calculations, system load calculations, and availability/reliability calculations for automation systems is expected.
  • Knowledge in interoperability testing with various automation systems, protection relays, and asset monitoring & management systems is necessary.
  • Knowledge of various control schemes, including SAS architecture/schemes, is required.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, ANSI, etc., is important.
  • Knowledge of expertise: Electrical substation Automation
  • Any required certification: Any Cyber security related Certification will be added advantage.
  • Ability to coordinate with primary/protection equipment control vendors, FAT, IFAT, and commissioning activities is necessary.
  • Ability to conduct FAT for automation systems and cybersecurity solutions is required.
  • Ability to prepare block diagrams, functional design specifications, signal lists, BOQs, hardware and software selection for automation systems, and various other configuration-related documentation for automation solutions is necessary.
  • Relevant year of experience- 5 to10 years
  • Expertise in Siemens parameterizing tools like DIGSI, PAS, SCC, SDM, REYDISP, PQS, TBII, etc., is required.
  • Personal skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Diligent, team player& self-motivated
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Expertise in networking required for automation solutions is essential.
  • Knowledge in process bus, microgrid, and PPC will be considered an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in control and protection drawings for various protection and control systems is essential.
