For a given project in execution, he/she will perform the calculation and the design of the tools according to the CoE’s Design Practices and with the validation of the tooling principal engineer
Represent the Tooling Center of Excellence (CoE) in front of the Project Team: System Integrator, CoE main project engineers, Supply Chain, Quality and Construction & Commissioning
Manage the calculation and design of the full list of tools identified during synopsis phase (detailed transportation & erection sequence of the power plant) - fulfilling planning, cost and safety requirement.

Master/Bachelor degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering
Proven ability to work with cross-functional and global teams
Knowledge of Hydropower Plant product
Significant experience (>5 years) in mechanical design of hydro mechanical parts
Good knowledge of 3D CAD software preferably NX and PLM system
Strong interpersonal & design conceptualization skills, proven leadership skills and a result-oriented approach
Experience in design of lifting equipment and access platform or significant experience on site
Team-player: positive & engaged contributor to the team, willingness to learn & adapt to business needs; must be resilient
Must have a good command on analytical calculations and material selection with good knowledge of different standards – ASME, EN, IS etc.
Excellent communication skills to deal with global team
